Crytek has released PC Update 2.0 for Crysis Remastered. The latest patch restores the title’s tenth level, “Ascension,” which sees players piloting an MV-24 VTOL to take out enemy Ceph with a mini-gun and rockets while getting to the USS Constitution and attempting to evac marines along the way. Some Crysis fans claim that this is a horrible level, but we’d argue that missing content is even worse.



Crysis Remastered’s PC Update 2.0 also includes some welcome performance improvements, such as better shadow quality on the “Very High” and “Can It Run Crysis?” settings. The notes also allude to mild CPU optimizations, as well as improvements to the...

Heh Heh Crysis 2.0 in 2020. Whoda thunk it?

Played a little bit last night. It's come a long way from launch. AI NPC's is still all over the place but overall the game plays a lot more smoothly than before(comparing to launch again). Kind of surprised they still haven't added DLSS support yet. Visually if you crank the various texture levels to max things look impressive.
