Crytek has released Crysis Remastered’s 2.1 update, which adds DLSS and fixes numerous bugs. Users with compatible graphics cards could see a welcome performance uptick of 40 percent when using DLSS. Crytek has noted that it is still working on graphical anomalies with faraway textures appearing blurry, however. A user on r/Crysis says that the problem could be fixed by setting a negative LOD bias in the NVIDIA driver. There are also some raytracing bugs being worked on that result in discoloration of vehicle windows when it is set to very high or “Can it run Crysis?” modes.



The Crysis franchise is famous for pushing the visual boundaries, so adding DLSS support was a natural fit. NVIDIA DLSS is an amazing technology and gives a huge performance boost to Crysis Remastered...
