Cyberpunk 2077 Receives New Hotfix (1.06) That Removes 8 MB Save File Size Limit and Reduces Crashing on Consoles

CD PROJEKT RED has released hotfix 1.06 for the PC and console versions of Cyberpunk 2077. The release notes are rather short, but the patch does address the recently reported issue of save files being corrupted after exceeding 8 MB. According to GOG’s support document (and the testimony of annoyed players), this issue would occur if the amount of item and crafting materials got too high.



GOG has pointed out that damaged save files, unfortunately, cannot be saved, but it is continuing its investigation into why save...

I played for 30 mins last night on 1.05 and saw floating stuff a couple times. I guess they are focusing on game breaking stuff first.....
 
There has been a lot of improvement in the game since the <a href="https://www.psychosquad.com/cyberpunk-2077-hotfix-1-04-fixes-a-lot-of-bugs/" rel="nofollow ugc">first hotfix</a>. This <a href="https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/news/37214/hotfix-1-06" rel="nofollow ugc">latest hotfix</a> has also made significant improvement in the game and I believe that there are more hotfixes in the next few weeks which will make the game even better. CDPR certainly have the capability and capacity to turn this game into a masterpiece and match the success of The Witcher 3.
