Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 Arrives, Bringing New Vehicles & Quests, AutoDrive & Taxi Services, Photo Mode Features, Support for Mac Users, and More

Didn't know that was an issue. I guess I just got lucky given all the different setups I've had it on, 3 or 4 CPUs including laptops and about a half dozen different GPUs. I googled it and see that it is still a thing, bummer, and I'll count my blessings since I know what its like to encounter game issues with no solution on the web and then spending hours to attempt to fix. Most of the time I've succeeded but there's been a few I just gave up on and revisited later.

I've had some crashes back when I did my 1st play through a few years back. Just went back to saving everytime something significant happened. I plan to get back to this game for a 2nd run since I never did Phantom Liberty even though I bought it. Most of my crashes back then usually related to OC settings in trying to push things to their max.

I actually had good luck with the game close to release, it had bugs but it didn't crash. It was also stable when I played Phantom Liberty, with patch 2.1. 18 months ago.

I haven't played the game in a year, and I wanted to see the new features they added with 2.2 and 2.3 patches, but it seems with new developers come new issues. (as you know 2.2 and 2.3 wasn't done by CDPR).

I'm not even OC-ing at this point, so it can't be that.

Phantom Liberty is well worth the time, it is a much tighter experience than the base game, more focused and linear. The DLC itself has multiple different endings, and it can even add a new ending for the base game.
