In a new interview with IGN regarding Dead Space, Motive Studios’ senior producer Philippe Ducharme and creative director Roman Campos-Oriola talked about the remake and revealed that they discovered content cut from the original due to technical limitations at the time. Noting that they were building the game from the ground up, the developers mentioned that they were starting with the “original level design,” which suggests some of that cut content will be brought back for the remake. Ducharme also confirmed that there will be no microtransactions like there was in Dead Space 3.
