Disney Fires Daredevil: Born Again Head Writers: “Show Wasn’t Working”

Deadline has learned that Disney has fired its head writers and what sounds like some of its directors for Daredevil: Born Again after determining that the show "wasn't working." According to the sources with the publication, Chris Ord and Matt Corman have already been let go, along with a number of "episodic directors for the remainder of the series." Marvel originally announced Daredevil: Born Again in July 2022 during San Diego Comic-Con 2022, teasing an 18-episode streaming series that would see Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio reprise their roles yet again as Daredevil and Kingpin, respectively, in Spring 2024.
