Disney Schedules Two Star Wars Movies for 2026, Avatar 5 Coming in 2031

Disney has updated the release schedule for some of its most anticipated movies, including those belonging to the Star Wars and Avatar franchises. According to a report from Variety, 2026 will be the year of Star Wars, with two movies from Lucasfilm releasing that year (e.g., the one with Rey), while Avatar 3, following the success of last year's sequel, has been moved back to 2025. (Avatar 5, the final Avatar film, is now releasing on December 19, 2031.) A long list of Marvel films has also received new dates, including Deadpool 3, which is actually coming out earlier in May 2024 with Ryan Reynolds returning in the lead role opposite Hugh Jackman, who broke his promise about never playing Wolverine again.

None or very little from this will actually happen is what I think.
