EA Says There’s “No Validity” to Dead Space 2 Remake Rumors

EA has responded to this morning's rumors about a Dead Space 2 remake, claiming that there's "no validity" to Jeff Grubb's claims about how EA Motive had been developing the game but ended up canceling it due to the "lackluster" sales of its 2023 remake effort.

Glad to hear it. I admit that I did think the claim about it being canceled as being a bit odd since the game did get a lot of good reviews from players and reviewers alike and I thought it had done reasonably well with sales. That being said I still wasn't sure given that some companies seem to have ridiculous goals in terms of what is considered "successful".
