When Tesla unveiled its refreshed infotainment system for Model S and Model X vehicles earlier this year, Tesla CEO Elon Musk pointed out that it would be powerful enough to play CD PROJEKT RED’s controversial sci-fi RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. Musk confirmed the infotainment system’s gaming capabilities during a delivery event for the new Model S Plaid last night, demoing the game on the electric vehicle’s 17-inch touch screen. While it isn’t clear what resolution or quality level Cyberpunk 2077 was running at, Musk did clarify that the infotainment system offers PlayStation 5-level performance thanks to AMD’s Ryzen Embedded APU and RDNA 2-based GPU (Navi 23) technologies.
