EON Gaming has announced that the XBHD is now available for pre-order at CastleMania Games and Games Connection for 189.99 USD (149.99 GBP). The XBHD is a plug-and-play HDMI adapter for the original Xbox that allows owners of Microsoft's classic console to enjoy it on modern TVs at up to 1080i resolution, featuring 2x HD video outputs, 3x LAN/Ethernet ports, and a mini-TOSLINK audio jack. Despite being discontinued in 2006, the original Xbox is still highly prized among retro gamers, with one major reason being how difficult Xbox games can be to emulate properly.
