EVGA Introduces 80 PLUS Gold GE Power Supplies with Up to 800 Watts of Output Power

EVGA has introduced its latest power supplies in the form of the GE Series. These are 80 PLUS Gold rated PSUs that, while non-modular, feature EVGA's ECO mode, allowing them to operate silently during lighter loads. EVGA has confirmed that the GE Series is available in 500-,600-,700-, and 800-watt power output capacities, all of which come with a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer.

Ok sub 1000 watt 80+ gold... I would call that acceptable. Though if you're getting a new power supply these days I would go platinum or titanium and over 1kw.
