EVGA Joins ASUS with $1,799 GeForce RTX 3090 Variant

We previously learned that ASUS’s ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 would cost $1,799.99, but new price listings spotted on Newegg (via Tom’s Hardware) suggest that EVGA is prepping some equally expensive variants, too. The EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra Gaming will purportedly be sold for an eye-watering $1,799.99, just like the Strix, while the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 Gaming follows closely behind at $1,729.99.

Hope to see Hybrid pricing soon, other than that these prices seems like business as usual, the TUF Gaming at $1499 is probably gonna sell really well if it performs as well as the TUF 3080 has in the reviews so far.

I also noticed it too has the 3 x 8-pin configuration. At this point it seems all the major manufacturers, plus some not well-known ones, are all shifting to that model for the heaviest oc'd versions.
