Far Cry fans have a lot to look forward to next month, as the sixth mainline installment of the popular open-world shooter franchise, Far Cry 6, will be launching on October 7.
Ubisoft revealed the PC specifications for Far Cry 6 today to clarify what kind of hardware is needed to enjoy the game at higher resolutions and frame rates with ray tracing enabled.
Far Cry 6 players who wish to play the game at 1440p at 60 FPS with ray tracing will need an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel i5-10600 processor and AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card.
Those who wish to play the game at 4K at 30 FPS with ray tracing on will need an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X or Intel i7-10700K processor and AMD Radeon RX 6800 or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card.
