Just as long as you're ALSO not doing Ethernet over Power. I imagine the two would battle for bandwidth not to mention signal integrity.Well, I guess this shouldn't be too hard, given we already have Powerline Ethernet --- you could just encode audio on the transmitter side, send it via an already established format, and then decode on the recieving end. Include a small amp if you wanted to power small speakers directly, or a line out to drive an external amp.
Surprised it hasn't already been done - or I guess you could do it pretty easy with something like RPi units...
