FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Coming in Early 2024 to PS5 on Two Discs

Square Enix has announced that FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH will be released for PlayStation 5 consoles in early 2024, and according to a new gameplay trailer that was shown during today's Summer Game Fest event, the physical version of the game will be shipping on not one, but two discs. This seems to suggest that FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, the sequel to FFVII REMAKE, will cover a lot more ground than the original game, the PC version of which already weighs in at 100 GB, according to the Steam listing for FFVII REMAKE INTERGRADE. Square Enix has also debuted a new trailer for FINAL FANTASY VII EVER CRISIS, a new mobile game that re-imagines key events in the FFVII series, with Cloud, Zack, Sephiroth, and other key characters.

I wonder what size BDs those are. 100GB is the largest BD size isn't it? With so many modern games pushing over 100GB, it makes sense this would be on two discs. Not the first game to do that. I think RDR2 came on two BDs.
