The Epic Games Store has shared the official specifications for the PC version of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake ahead of its release next week on December 16, 2021.



For the recommended experience, Final Fantasy fans on PC will need an Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 processor (or better), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 graphics card (or better), and 12 GB of memory. The game also requires 100 GB “or more” of free storage.

It was a good game on the PS4 - not OMG like the original was back in the day, but good.

Not sure it’s $70-to-play-it-again good though.
 
Also - clocks in at 86G after install on PS4. So 100G with some texture options and such sounds about right
 
Yeah, I don't see myself dropping $70 for this. I'll wait and see what happens around the holidays next year unless something pops up for a good deal during the summer.
 
From what I hear this is NOT the original game but a reimagining... hitting the same beats but new engine and all.
