An overseas reviewer has posted the first images of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition and shared that reviews will go live on January 29. Additionally, it's been confirmed that the 12VHPWR power connector has been upgraded to a 12V-2x6 and includes a 3x 8-pin adapter enabling up to 450W of power delivery to the card.

This is the revised, non-melty version of the older firey one? Not some new new connector, right?

Not new, it's 12V-2×6, and it's not perfect. I however, do not know what the failure rate is on it, and how many if any have been reported melting. Still has the inherent issue of lower tolerances than traditional 8-pin cables.

Hey we have an intolerant president in the US, might as well have intolerant connectors. ;) sorry couldn't resist.
