So my son's PC started having stability issues, every now and then it would freeze for a few seconds then come back, but a couple of times it went BSOD.
I figured it might be the ram so I opened the case it only has 16gb DDR4 stick, the case/mobo was quite dusty, so I cleaned it. I cleaned the ram slots with Isopropyl alcohol and put back the ram. It wouldn't post. I had a couple of 8gb DDR4 sticks so I tried one. Booted normally. I checked the ram usage and to my surprise the memory size was 32GB with 12gb usage. I played DMC5 and ran great. No instabilities but stupid me had to turn off the PC before taking a screenshot. I put back the 16gb stick and it's all good now. tested the 8gb stick again and it snows 8gb.
