GIGABYTE Confirms AMD Ryzen 9000 Series Processors with Latest BIOS Updates

GIGABYTE has announced that the latest AGESA 1.1.7.0 beta BIOS is now available for its AM5 X670, B650, A620 motherboards, and with it comes the news that AMD's next-generation desktop processors will be sold under the Ryzen 9000 Series.

I really need to read up on AMD model names again. I've lost track of what is going on after the 7000 series X3D update.

9000 is desktop CPUs

Just think of it like leapfrogging, they do a series for CPU, then the next for APU, so the next CPU is the next thousand number
