There have been many rumors about GeForce RTX 3080/3080 Ti variants with 20 GB of VRAM. It seems that at least one of these early prototypes were sent to AIBs. Someone in Russia managed to purchase a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Gaming OC with 20 GB of memory for roughly $3,070.
No drivers are available for the graphics card, which means there’s only one thing it can be used for: mining. The owner tried reaching out to GIGABYTE Russia for drivers but was told that the card doesn’t exist.
The card came pre-configured with overclock core and memory settings. When tested using Gminer or NBminer, it managed around 94 MH/s with the Ethash algorithm.
