God of War Ragnarök released just two days ago but is already proving to be a massive sales success, particularly in certain regions such as the UK, where it's poised to become the biggest launch in the franchise's history, according to sales data and remarks from charts firm GfK.

Yeah, claims that Sony has not confirmed yet after 48-hours of Ragnarok release period but... ~24-hrs of MWII launch, Sony proudly announced that MWII is the "biggest PlayStation Store launch" of all-time (maybe to just throw a stone at the MS-Acti acquisition ).

I recall similar praises for Returnal, R&C, etc. at launch too but we know how that turned out very quickly.

I'm sure Ragnarok will perform overall ok, though due to many PS owners drought for new content, holidays sales, etc.
