GOG Galaxy 2.0 Closed Beta Begins

Invites are rolling out for the closed beta of GOG Galaxy 2.0, a unified launcher that puts all of your games under one roof. If you're interested in testing it out but haven't signed up yet, you can still do so at GOG's site.

GOG Galaxy 2.0 doesn't only combine all of your games into a single library; it also connects you with your friends from other platforms, allowing you to chat with them and see their achievements.

GOG stresses that it will never share your personal data with third parties. Users can remove any imported data from its servers with a single click.

Not gonna bother to run the beta, but this is seriously interesting if it will work as advertised.
