uBlock Origin, the free and open-source extension for Chrome, Firefox, and other popular internet browsers that advertises itself as more than just a simple ad-blocker, allowing users to block a "wide spectrum" of content with CPU and memory efficiency as a primary feature, will soon be removed from the Chrome Web Store because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions, Google has revealed.
