Google Pixel 8 Pro Features a Flat OLED Display, Great News for Those Who Hate Curved Edges

What's the point of smartphone displays with curved edges? That seems to be a question that Google's designers have been asking, as sources with Android Authority have learned that the company's next flagship phone, the Pixel 8 Pro, will feature a flat OLED display as opposed to the ones seen in the Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 6 Pro, both of which had curved edges. The Pixel 8 Pro screen appears to be inferior in some ways to its predecessor, however, with comparisons alluding to a slightly smaller screen size, not to mention a lower resolution and PPI.

Well dang, I was just considering getting an S23, but don't like the curved display on them. Might wait and see how this does now.

I just got a pixel 7 after my 6 year old Samsung A5's screen was starting to come apart so too late for me.
