Google has announced that its game-streaming platform, Stadia, will debut in November for $129. It’s not quite the Netflix of gaming, however. The subscription (which costs $9.99 a month) will only allow access to a limited number of games; newer ones have to be purchased separately.
The system is launching with a “Founder’s Edition” this year, with a free version, “Stadia Base,” coming in 2020. Google says the console will be able to stream games at 4K/60 FPS if internet bandwidth is high enough.
Destiny 2: The Collection will be available for free upon release. It’s also getting Baldur’s Gate 3, which was just announced today, as well as Ghost Recon: Breakout, The Division 2, and Doom Eternal. Here's the full list:
