Noble Team has landed on the PC platform with a bang. Halo: Reach, which launches today, is already Steam's top-selling title, with The Master Chief Collection ($39.99) taking the premiere spot and the standalone release ($9.99) in second. The Halo prequel is currently peaking at 154,108 players, just behind Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2.

Halo topping a PC sales chart is bizarre for a handful of reasons. The Master Chief Collection is quite old at this point. It debuted for Xbox One in 2014. And it had a poor reputation due to a number of horrendous technical issues. But, of course, the strangest aspect is that Halo was famously not a PC game — and certainly not a PC game on Steam.

Nearly a decade after its launch on Xbox 360. Better late than never I guess.

Pretty cool, wish my internet wasn't so terrible here - have a hankering for some Halo multiplayer.

Article is kind of misleading. The first Halo was released for both the original Xbox and PC.
