Hawkeye Actor Jeremy Renner in “Critical But Stable” Condition Following Snow-Plowing Accident

Jeremy Renner had a rough holiday, according to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office in Reno, Nevada, which told Deadline on New Year's Day that the 51-year-old actor best known for playing Hawkeye for Marvel Studios is in “critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow earlier today."

Dude owns a ranch up near Tahoe -- ok, he's a movie star, he gets to buy things like that.

He owns a professional Snowcat - like what they use at Ski resorts. Again, he's a star, they can buy things like this. I'm only a little jealous. They got ~dumped~ on at Tahoe in this last storm front (the "atmospheric river") -- like multiple feet of snow over the weekend.

Apparently he got out to do something, got out in front of the machine, and it rolled over his leg. Almost bled to death and had to get air lifted out with a torniquet on his left.
