Hitman 3 Chongqing Trailer Reveals 4K/60 FPS and HDR Support, with Up to 300 NPCs

IO Interactive has released a new Hitman 3 trailer that confirms Agent 47 will be traveling to China for a little bit of wetwork. The video, which highlights the neon glow of booming megacity Chongqing, doubles as a technical showcase for the third installment’s graphical upgrades, which include 4K, 60 FPS, and HDR support.



“HITMAN 3 is powered by IO Interactive’s proprietary Glacier engine and will look, sound and play better than ever with improvements to lighting, reflections, animation and AI,” IO Interactive wrote. “Chongqing also features full water effects with details such as rain drops hitting Agent 47 and his clothes getting wet, all adding to the immersion of experiencing HITMAN 3.”
