This is actually good news from Intel — they are finally starting to pay attention to their driver. It may be a year or more too late, and it may not be the best press look, but better late than never
 
Yup, very good news - Intel being honest about their position and approach is a good look. Especially if they're willing to be reasonable with pricing.
