Intel's upcoming lineup of 14th Gen processors will include a CPU that only features two cores. That's according to hardware tipster chi11eddog, who X'd today about a newly branded "Intel 300" chip being in the works at the company, offering just a set of Performance-cores—two less than what users will find in Intel's current Core i3 lineup—along with four threads, 6 MB of L3 cache, and a base frequency of 3.9 GHz. This rumored CPU, which also features a base power of 46 watts, is said to be a replacement for the Pentium Gold G7400, a budget chip that can currently be had for $89.99 at retailers that include Best Buy.
