It seems the Epic may have some damage control to take care of regarding a number of issues. Guru3d has reported on multiple items that have come to light.
Firstly it has been discovered by Willian Worrall, of CCN Markets, that there is an exploit that can allow users to obtain games for free on Epic. After a bit of testing, on multiple devices, it would seem to involve Epic’s type of DRM, or lack thereof. I’d be surprised if this doesn’t get fixed quickly, assuming it hasn’t already.
The next involves a class action lawsuit against Epic. This is about another flaw in its security measures that allowed users data to be breached. It accuses Epic of not only not properly maintaining security measure but also delaying in notifying users of the compromise.
