Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts will be helming a live-action movie for Netflix based on Japan’s legendary mecha anime franchise, Gundam. The world’s biggest streamer announced the news in a press release shared today, which was short on plot details but did confirm that it’d be set in the Universal Century calendar era and feature the series’ iconic mobile suits. Vogt-Roberts is also developing a film based on Hideo Kojima’s hit stealth-action title, Metal Gear Solid.
