Avalanche Studios, the developer best known for the Just Cause franchise of open-world action-adventure games, is closing two of its studios following what company leaders have described as an "exceptionally difficult decision," one that would include the loss of around 50 valued workers, according to a new statement that was published on the official Avalanche website today.
