Konami Announces Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S) and Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 (Autumn 2023)

Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is not only in development for PS5, but also for Xbox Series X|S and Steam, seemingly quashing those recent rumors of new Metal Gear games being exclusive to the PlayStation platform. While there's no release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater yet, the "faithful remake" of the PS2-era action-adventure game will be complemented by Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, a new collection of Metal Gear ports that brings MGS1, MGS2, and MGS 3 into a single package. Konami hasn't confirmed what platforms Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 will be released on, although a letter from the development team seems to suggest that it's coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
