I sort of like the idea of an expandable laptop display but it all comes down to specs and its longevity. Sure 21:9 could be really cool but if the panel specs are crap it doesn't matter. I also think they should be a bit bigger as going from 14" to 16.7" isn't all that impressive to me but I do understand that weight becomes a major factor with larger displays.
