Ok... this is more a rant but if anyone has suggestions or ideas, I'm all ears.

I'm not particularly in love with Logitech stuff... but after years of abuse, my wrists can't take a lot of mousing any more. The larger/taller grips on Logitechs (particularly the ergonomic one) help a lot.

But... Logitech keeps putting this rubberized coating on their mice. It gets disgusting relatively quickly. Maybe it's just the combination of my ogre hand sweat, beef jerky grease and cheeto dust.... but it drives me crazy. Bathing it in alcohol helps temporarily, but doesn't take long for it to get back to feeling like I'm palming a bullfrog straight out of the pond.

I don't think I want to move to a trackpad or touchpad. Apart from this rubber coating (and general dislike of Logitech's software, which I don't use) - the mice do ok for me.

I've been considering one of their racing mice (the high-performance ones), and I think that they omit those coatings. Mostly due to the weight.

Also their cheaper ones tend to omit the coatings too.
