Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Prequel Comic Teases Magical Super Villains in Insomniac Games’ New Sequel

A prequel comic for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be available through a participating comic book store and downloadable through the Marvel Unlimited app or Marvel.com starting on May 6 for Free Comic Book Day, Marvel and Insomniac Games have announced. The comic, which features Spider-Man and Miles Morales on the cover, promises to provide a peek as to what these characters, including Mary Jane "MJ" Watson, have been doing since the events of Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and a portion of the synopsis seems to suggest that some of the villains and enemies in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be capable of using magic. Insomniac Games also revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will be available as a standalone purchase through the PlayStation Store later this month (the title was "previously only included as part of the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition").
