BioWare released Mass Effect Legendary Edition in May, a compilation comprising remastered versions of the highly acclaimed and celebrated Mass Effect games.
Despite the fact that the original Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 have already been enjoyed by millions of fans around the world many times over, Mass Effect Legendary Edition has still managed to sell beyond many people’s expectations.
Those would include EA’s own CEO Andrew Wilson, who admitted during his company’s Q1 FY 2022 earnings call today that the game’s sales performance has gone “well above” the publishing giant’s expectations thus far.
