Max Payne 3 was a pretty polarizing experience for many gamers, with Rockstar Games having taken the reins from original developer Remedy Entertainment and shifting the venue from the appropriately gritty and noir-perfect streets of New York to a Brazil with drug-induced screen effects, but one thing that practically all fans have agreed on is the brilliance of its soundtrack produced by one of Los Angeles' leading industrial bands, HEALTH.

When I first fired up MP3 I wandered what the hell they were thinking but it didn't take long til I was hooked. It's one of the very few times where taking something that was a masterpiece, spinning it in a whole new direction and it worked. Yeah it's not quite as good as 1 or 2 but it's still an excellent game and Max Payne installment.
