The film industry lost an incredible talent this weekend. French actor Max von Sydow, star of countless classics such as Pelle the Conqueror, The Exorcist, and The Seventh Seal, has died at the age of 90.



His widow, Catherine von Sydow, confirmed his passing in a statement sent to Deadline and France’s Paris Match. “It is with a broken heart and with infinite sadness that we have the extreme pain of announcing the departure of Max von Sydow, on March 8, 2020,” she wrote.
