Microsoft recently unveiled Windows 365, a new Cloud PC service that will allow users to tap into the world’s most popular operating system on any device through a web browser or the company’s Remote Desktop app. While Microsoft didn’t share any pricing details regarding Windows 365 in its blog post on Wednesday, Ignite Solutions CEO Derek Gabriel has shared a screenshot revealing the costs for at least one of the service’s tiers. For $31 per month, a business user can run Windows on a configuration with “2 vCPU, 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage” supporting desktop versions of Office apps, Outlook, OneDrive, and more. You serious? Because this is a bit extreme for a joke.

4GB Ram? 2 CPU? What is this 2010? For 31 / month? Just wait until they start charging you for using your own PC.
 
If they, and anyone else, gets the idea to begin forcing people to such services by dropping local installs eventually that void will be filled by those who can create a OS platform to address the market that doesn't want to pay constantly for cloud services.
