Microsoft has introduced the Windows 365 Link, a new device that the Windows and Xbox maker says was purpose-built to connect securely to Windows 365—a service that allows users to stream Windows 10 or 11 through the cloud—in "seconds."

Welcome to hell. You own nothing, not even your own files. And you have no rights at all - including the right to sue - as you signed those away when you agreed to the EULA, which of course included a mandatory arbitration clause.

Please for the love of god nobody buy this.... The future of freedom as we know it depends on this being a commercial failure.

...because if it becomes a huge success, the whole market will move in this direction, and it will become more and more difficult to have a real computer experience :cry:

I think it's far too late for that. O365 is already a staggering success for businesses. This might just replace business PC's. But I'm not sure how it'll fit in to a lot of businesses now because laptops are a thing (and portable.) Still, I think it just moves everything back to thin cloud client.
