nope, it's one of the few mobo's that allows my peculiar setup and the reason I'm not running an x870E mobo.

According to the manual that doesn't oddly cover 9000 series CPU's you're bifrucation should be taking you down to x4 speeds if I'm reading the chart right.

That is if you use the PCIe slot for SSD's, not a GPU

nvm, updating to the latest AMD chipset drivers fixed it, still don't know what it was, but it's no longer an unknown device.

Did a full windows reinstall, if this does not fix it there will be a platform change.
