"Latency Killer," a new BIOS option that MSI has developed to counter the memory latency degradation that was introduced with AGESA 1.2.0.2a—the BIOS update that added support for the Ryzen 7 9800X3D—has been tested and is capable of reducing DDR5 memory latency by up to 8ns on AM5 motherboards, according to screenshots that have been shared online.
