MSI Publishes Windows 11 Auto HDR Compatible Monitors List

MSI has published its Windows 11 Auto HDR compatible monitors list, confirming the displays that include support for one of the operating system’s most exciting new gaming features. Built into Windows 11, Auto HDR enables high dynamic range in thousands of DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 games that were originally mastered in SDR, increasing highlights, shadow detail, and more. All Windows 11 users need to do is get an HDR-certified display (such as those shared by MSI below) and toggle Auto HDR on under the Windows HD Color settings.

Hey, my MAG301RF is on the list. I'll let everyone know how it goes, when I eventually submit to Windows 11 but that might be a while.
 
Windows let me enable it on my LG27GN950 - it actually popped up asking to enable when I tried to launch a supported game (FFXIV).

That said - it has to be supported by the game (unclear where this support actually comes from at this time), so it doesn't blanket work on everything. And at least in the case of FFXIV, the colors did look better, but it wasn't a dramatic OMG improvement, it was just noticeable if you A/B tested it and very subtle.
