The Z790 PROJECT ZERO PLUS, a new motherboard from MSI, will be one of the first motherboards from the company to feature support for CAMM2, a brand-new memory module standard that will deliver higher capacities, faster speeds, and more to desktop enthusiasts under a thinner profile, according to a tweet that the MSI Gaming account shared today.

Looks to have the disadvantage of having only one 'unit' that can be swapped, but might actually increase speeds / reduce latency.

Also looks like it would be easy to add cooling!
 
I've been very impressed with my Z790 Project Zero motherboard so I'm glad to see them still evolving that side of things.
