MSI has launched a GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card that seems to take a page out of NVIDIA’s Fermi generation of GPUs, which released over a decade ago in April 2010. The dual-slot GeForce RTX 3090 AERO 24G has a shroud that’s highly reminiscent of older cards such as the GeForce GTX 480, and not only that, it utilizes a similar-looking blower design that expels hot air through the heat sink and rear I/O.



Other features of the GeForce RTX 3090 AERO 24G yet include a reinforced backplate (which, interestingly, only covers half of the card), an “abundance” of thermal pads for dissipating heat from various board components, and support for Afterburner overclocking software.

For people who were waiting for a 2-slot 3090. Funny how it looks so skinny after being bombarded by so many enormous designs with this generation.
 
I wouldn't want to be in the same room with it. 350W on a single blower fan is gonna be loud.
