NBA 2K23 for the PC won't include the latest and greatest technical features that developer Visual Concepts has cooked up for this year's installment of its long-running basketball game series.

Seen this kind of laziness before, where the dev puts the real new version of their game out on new consoles, but the PC port gets a last-gen version. Especially lazy considering the AMD64 Zen 2 RDNA2 roots of the current-gen systems. Shiat, on XBSS/XBSX, you're literally on Win10 and using DX12 already.

Yeah doesn't make a lot of sense considering the consoles are basically PCs anyway. OTOH who plays NBA on a PC anyway? Probably 98% console.
