Have had the Corsair Virtuoso SE's for a LONG time now. And the band has finally broken. Basically being held together by a cover I got for it. So I need a new headset... Anyone got a recommendation? Use it for Teams and for Gaming of course.

There is always the Sony WH-4000's if you're looking for something wireless, noise cancelling, and expensive

I've been happy with my Astro A50s. Also have the A40s that I don't use anymore since I wanted to go wireless and bought the A50s.

Is your need for it to function wired and wireless only for charging purposes? Meaning, if the headset is dead you can plug it in and still use it while it charges?

The A50s will do this. Communication is always wireless, but you can plug the headset into a USB port and it'll charge it while its dead/low on battery and still function.

My only gripe with my A50s is that its one of the older generations that uses MicroUSB. You know, the ****ty USB connector? The newer versions use USB C which solves that problem. The problem of, that connector not always working and needing to be plugged in a specific way to work. Moving around with it plugged in usually causes it to lose charging connection and wont charge while wearing. USB C most likely solved that issue.

Good advice... my current broken but limping headset is my corsair Virtuoso SE's have been good for several years but finally broke... (big head it's an when not if. But lasted me through two sets of earcups and a headband cover.) So getting the Corsair Virtuoso Max wireless headset through their Revival line. So about 100 bucks cheaper than normal retail.
