Following right on the heels of last evening’s leak, Netflix has gone ahead and officially announced Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness – a new “anime” CGI series that reunites Resident Evil 2 protagonists Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Unlike Capcom’s previous CGI installments (e.g., Resident Evil: Degeneration, which was released as a full-length feature), Infinite Darkness is an episodic streaming exclusive that will debut globally in 2021.
